1 cup chopped toasted walnuts (or cashew nuts)
1 1/2 cups 1 1/2 cup raisins, soaked in brandy and water
1 1/2 cups 1 1/2 cup Fruit Cocktail
1 1/2 cups 1 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Salt
2 pieces Eggs
1/2 cup NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream
1 1/4 cups 1 1/4 cup loosely packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup Orange Juice
1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup Orange Juice

STEPS

Step 1 Combine walnuts, raisins, and fruits in a bowl. Coat well with 1/4 cup flour.
Step 2 In another bowl, combine 1 1/4 cups flour and salt. Set aside.
Step 3 Beat eggs until light and frothy. Stir in NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream and vanilla and continue mixing.
Step 4 Add in dry ingredients: brown sugar, flour and salt mixture, and fruits. Mix thoroughly then spread onto a greased 9x13 inch rectangular pan.
Step 5 Bake at a pre-heated 300 degrees F oven for 30-35 minutes or until edges are starting to brown.
Step 6 Glaze cake with orange juice mixture while still warm. Let cool and cut into bars.
