500 grams Pork Cheek
500 grams pork intestine, rinsed well
2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 piece thumb-sized ginger, cut into strips
1 piece onion, chopped
1 piece Finger Chili
1 piece Bay Leaf
1/4 cup Vinegar
2 cups Water
1 cup fresh pork blood
2 sachets MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
1 packet NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream

STEPS

Step 1 Simmer pork and intestine in water for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse well. Cut into serving pieces. (10mins)
Step 2 Sauté garlic, ginger, onion and chili in oil. Add bay leaf, vinegar, pork cheeks and intestines. Pour water to barely cover the pork. Cover and simmer until tender. (1hour)
Step 3 Stir in pork blood and cook until slightly thick. Simmer for 5 minutes. (5mins)
Step 4 Season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap®, pepper and sugar. Stir in NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream. Transfer into a serving plate. (5mins)
